Project Description

Lauren Wlazelek

Lauren earned her B.S. in Physiology from the University of Delaware. Aside from studies,
she could be found on the ice as a competitive figure skater, winning a collegiate National
Championship. Now Lauren enjoys running half marathons and hitting the ski slopes.

After graduating with her Masters of Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson
University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Lauren began working for the University of
Pennsylvania Hospital. She spent the early years of her career in a concussion clinic,
treating athletes with visual and vestibular disturbances.

Beginning her adventure to the west coast, Lauren was on staff at the University of
Colorado Hospital where she began to focus on specializing in the treatment of the upper
extremity. Lauren recently graduated from an American Occupational Therapy Association
accredited hand fellowship at Stanford and plans to sit for the Certified Hand Therapy
