Wendy Levine

Wendy earned her BS in Occupational Therapy from Sargent College, Boston University.  She then joined the Peace Corps and worked in Brazil with her husband Carl, for 2 years.  During that time she worked in Rehabilitation settings and gave several lectures to Brazilian students in Portuguese.
When she returned to the US, she worked in upper extremity rehabilitation and studied for the national hand therapy certification exam.  She became a Certified Hand Therapist in 1991 and worked in New York and Ct.,and has been treating hand and upper extremity injuries since that time. She and her husband relocated to the Bay Area in 2008 to be with their adult children and grandchildren.
Wendy’s specialties include the treatment of conservative and post operative hand, wrist and elbow injuries. She authored a chapter in Hand Clinics on Rehabilitation of the Wrist, including the TFCC and other ligament injuries.  She has also taught several courses on splinting and upper extremity
Wendy’s hobbies include painting, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family here in the Bay Area.
