What is Pilates?

Pilates is a century-old exercise system developed by Joseph Pilates aimed at improving overall fitness and encouraging wellness in its participants. Pilates and Pilates-evolved activities aim to improve mind/body connection, movement control, core muscle activation, postural alignment, and overall strength and balance. Here at Agile, we focus on tailoring Pilates matwork and equipment exercises to the individual to ensure a safe and effective workout for all.
