Ann has 15+ years of clinical experience with specialty training in the areas of pelvic health rehabilitation (for all genders), chronic pain management and injury prevention. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in Pennsylvania in 2004, and co-founded her private practice in 2009 called Body Connect Health & Wellness in Washington D.C. with the mission to deliver unparalleled pelvic health and wellness services to her local community. She joined the Agile team in 2019 with the goal of being able to do the same here in the Bay area.
As a mother of two, Ann has a strong area of interest in women’s and pre-natal/ post-partum health. She is also passionate about providing compassionate care to the LGBTQ+ community. She has advanced training in the treatment of chronic pain conditions utilizing various manual therapy techniques (i.e. myofascial release, visceral manipulation and craniosacral therapy). As a clinical instructor and an expert in her field, she is engaged with students, budding therapists and young women/ minority owned entrepreneurs, providing internship and mentorship opportunities for them to grow and thrive in this specialized area of healthcare and entrepreneurialism.
In her spare time, Ann enjoys running, yoga and meditation. She also loves to travel. Having lived in four continents across the world (Africa, Asia, Europe and North America), her global citizenship and experiences have enriched her ability to cater to patients with diverse backgrounds.
