Heather earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2014. She completed advanced training through an orthopaedic residency and a manual orthopaedic fellowship with Agile Physical Therapy. She is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Heather specializes in orthopaedic and sports physical therapy and enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life to achieve their individual goals. Additionally, Heather is passionate about educating the next generation of physical therapists. She regularly teaches and mentors doctoral students and orthopedic residents and is the clinical director of Agile’s Physical Therapy Student Program.
Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Heather earned a double major Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Performing Arts with emphasis in Dance from Saint Mary’s College of California. Heather’s extensive dance and yoga training assists her in developing creative solutions during rehabilitation.
In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and son, family, friends, and dog. She enjoys hiking, yoga, traveling, dancing, and the great outdoors.
