Kendra received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from East Tennessee State University (ETSU); she then went on to graduate from ETSU with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to moving to The Bay Area, she enjoyed four years in Las Cruces, New Mexico where she worked in an outpatient, orthopaedic setting serving a large Spanish-speaking population. In 2018, she moved to California to pursue a year-long Orthopaedic Residency with Agile Physical Therapy.
While at ETSU, Kendra attended two medical mission trips to Belize to provide physical therapy to an underserved population; these trips helped her gain insight into the importance of task-specific exercises, without the use of much equipment, in order to assist patients in reaching their goals. She feels this experience aided her transition into the world of virtual care, as well; she loves being creative and helping her patients work with what they already have at home.
During her free time, Kendra likes to hike with her husband and two dogs, travel, eat good food and practice her Spanish so she doesn’t get too rusty!
