Marlene has been a licensed occupational therapist ince 1985, a certified hand therapist since 1995, and has been member of the Hand Therapy Association of California since 1995. She is professionally feel very confident treating a variety of diagnoses such as orthopaedic/traumatic injuries, microsurgical replantations, arthritis, fractures of the elbow/wrist/hand, CRPS, congenital conditions, Brachial Plexus injuries and NDT coordination retraining for the upper extremity.
Marlene is a clinical fieldwork instructor for OT interns from NYU, SJSU, Florida International University and Touro University. Her goal with patients is to restore them to their optimal level of function so they can regain their previous quality-of-life.
In her free time Marlene enjoys running marathons, skiing and volunteering for nonprofit organizations.
