Samantha (Sammy) is a California native, originally from a small town in the Santa Cruz mountains. She was first introduced to Physical Therapy at UC Davis while completing her undergraduate degree in Exercise Biology. Sammy went on to graduate from the physical therapy program at UCSF/SFSU, earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is currently completing the Agile Women’s Health Residency Program to become a Women’s Health Clinical Specialist.
Sammy’s clinical passion focuses on Pelvic Health, and she enjoys treating patients with problems such as incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and many others. Sammy also provides cancer care and treatment for lymphedema. Sammy is committed to helping her patients achieve their goals using evidence-based treatments. She hopes to see pelvic floor physical therapy become the standard of care for patients, particularly in the pregnant and postpartum populations.
In her spare time Sammy enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors with her husband, as they try to visit every national park in the United States. Sammy also enjoys obstacle racing and running, and has completed four marathons.
