Audrey King, PT, DPT, OCS, joined Agile in 2017. She has a B.A. in English Literature and a B.F.A in Dance Performance. Audrey became a certified Pilates instructor through a year-long intensive in 2008. In the process she found herself assisting several clients who were managing complex medical conditions. This inspired her to pursue an even greater understanding of the body’s systems during physical rehabilitation.
She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. Audrey enjoys working with patients of all ages and stages, as their partner and advocate for care. She strives to be guided by evidence-based care, exploring opportunities to maximize functional movement patterns and utilizing a holistic Lifestyle Medicine approach to treat the whole person. In 2020 she became a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist. She has been studying plant-based nutrition since 2018, with a Certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell in 2020. In 2021 Audrey became a certified Health Coach. She enjoys incorporating coaching techniques to identify patient centered goals and behavior change to increase patient confidence with movement.
Beyond patient care, as an Operations Manager, Audrey is passionate about creating processes that provide the opportunity for providers to spend more time partnering with patients. In her spare time Audrey furthers her Pilates craft with reformer workouts at home and nurtures her passion for dance by taking dance classes whenever her schedule allows. She loves getting outdoors with her husband and kids, along with spending quality time with family and friends.
