Laurie Pepin

Meet Laurie
Laurie earned her BS in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She spent the early part of her career working in neurological rehabilitation, specializing in treating patients with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and multiple trauma. During that time, she completed an internship in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and presented nationally on developing aquatic programs for people with MS. She also served as the Rehabilitation Manager of the Multiple Sclerosis Association of Seattle for 6 years.
Laurie transitioned to treating patients with orthopaedic injuries and cancer in 1997, and is currently a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. While experiencing several cross country moves, Laurie continued to expand her skills and specialized in working with people with chronic pain and vestibular problems while at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Her varied training includes lymphedema training, ASTYM (Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization), cranio-sacral therapy, trigger point therapy, myofascial decompression (cupping) and kinesiotaping.
Laurie currently leads the oncology rehabilitation and lymphedema program at her clinic. She is a mentor and instructor for the Women's Health Residency Program, and is a certified lymphedema therapist. She believes strongly that her varied background has been the perfect fit for working with her cancer patients, and holds a vision for them of health and well being as they recover from their cancer treatment.
Her outside interests include kayaking, cycling, outdoor travel, and singing.
