James Buck
Meet James
James graduated with honors from Samuel Merritt University on his way to attaining his
Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2024 and previously graduated from the University of Oregon
with a bachelors in Human Physiology. He has worked in the physical therapy field since 2019
where he started as a physical therapist aide and eventually took over administrative duties for
his clinic. James is currently in Agile’s Orthopedic Residency program.
James believes that rehab is a team effort and empowers his patients to be active in their
recovery process by creating individualized and innovative treatment plans that meet the
patient’s goals. He has experience working with a variety of patients from the grandparent who
wants to play with their grandchildren to the burgeoning athlete who wants to complete their first
marathon. James is excited to help his patients move better and get back to what they love to
do.
When not treating patients, James enjoys hiking, bike rides, and supporting the 49ers with his
wife and their miniature dachshund Mika. He also loves traveling, discovering new restaurants,
and going to music shows with friends.
