Andrew Yoon
Meet Andrew
Andrew is new to the Bay as of 2025, having moved here after 15 years in Chicago. He has an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and a doctorate degree from University of Illinois – Chicago and has been a physical therapist since 2018. Having played team and individual sports his whole life, he particularly enjoys working with athletes of all ages and abilities and building up people’s capacities to return to doing what they love.
Andrew views physical therapy as a team effort, with his role being to guide and encourage patients toward their goals and achieve performance that was previously difficult or painful. The body has amazing capability to heal, and he wants to harness that as much as possible during each session.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys playing basketball and lifting weights, long walks or short runs near the water, and watching Korean reality television with his partner and two cats.
