Virtual Physical Therapy

What is Virtual Physical Therapy?

Don't want to leave home? Try Virtual Telehealth Physical Therapy!

Telehealth physical therapy is physical therapy delivered through a HIPAA- compliant video platform (Zoom). All Agile physical therapists are certified Telehealth practitioners. They understand the complexities of treating remotely to ensure a quality experience for you. Additionally, Telehealth care is a convenient, easy, and effective option for getting fast, quality care for your pain. Furthermore, research shows that Telehealth physical therapy is as effective than in-person care.

Your physical therapist will do a complete evaluation of your painful or injured areas by assessing your movements through a camera on any device. We might ask you to grab a household item to demonstrate strength or other activities giving you trouble. Your physical therapist will work with you to develop a personal exercise program for your goals. In the session, we'll go through your exercises virtually and send them to you via email so you can do them in your home. Additionally, we offer a downloadable app with videos of your individualized exercise program so you can exercise anywhere!

Not sure if Telehealth Physical Therapy is right for you?

We will not charge you for your Telehealth visit if your therapists thinks you're better suited for in-person care. You can visit one of Agile's convenient locations around the bay area for in-person care. We use Telehealth for many issues including sports and pelvic floor! Unless there are specific instructions from a doctor, a safety issue, or a preference for in-person care, almost all conditions can be treated virtually.

If time, driving, or convenience is a reason you are not getting care, Telehealth is a great option for you!

At Agile Physical Therapy we don’t look at you as your injury, we see you for how your injury has affected your life. We will work with you to achieve your goals. Learn why Agile is the best in the business.
