Meghan earned her Doctors of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in Florida. She spent her undergraduate years as a dual sport Division II NCAA athlete winning three National Championship titles on the rowing team, and receiving numerous accolades on the women’s soccer team. After college sports, she’s run 2 marathons, enjoys playing in flag football leagues, biking, running, yoga, and weight lifting.
Prior to joining the Agile team, Meghan worked in Los Angeles for a sports and orthopaedic clinic where she treated a variety of post-operative and orthopaedic sports injuries. She has provided physical therapy to the USA tennis team, NBA, MLB, and NFL players, in addition to collegiate and recreational athletes of all levels. Meghan is certified in Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, by Owen’s Recovery Science.
She’s been thrilled with the results in her patients who are post-operative, as well as those who have tendinopathies, chronic injuries, and chronic weakness. Blood Flow Restriction Therapy allows for an injured extremity to perform low intensity training while obtaining the similar strength gains, endurance, and muscle growth achieved with high intensity training.
