Meet Amy
Amy completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at UCSF/SFSU and graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science.
Her background in competitive dance first sparked her interest in rehabilitation science, which was further fueled by volunteer experiences that highlighted the power of movement to improve lives. During her time at UCSF/SFSU, Amy co-led the falls risk screening for the annual Chinatown Community Health Fair and TeenFit, a student-led elective that provided monthly health and fitness lessons to local middle school students. Amy is devoted to her community and strives to improve health and wellness knowledge for those around her.
Amy’s clinical experiences include working with veterans and athletes of all ages. She is a strong advocate for shared decision-making and patient education, believing that effective communication and collaboration empower individuals to take ownership of their recovery and build long-term health literacy.
A proud Bay Area native, Amy enjoys exploring new restaurants with friends and family, baking, and running. She’s also an avid crafter, spending many weekends knitting and cross-stitching. In addition to English, Amy speaks conversational Mandarin.
