Michael Toy

Michael earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University after completing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University. He is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and has helped many patients over the past 10 years rehabilitate their injuries to return back to full function and sport.

He has a passion for helping people return to their prior level of function. He focuses on resolving the root cause of the injury, allowing you resolution rather than simply short-term relief. Michael emphasizes education throughout the rehabilitation process as it is important to understand your injury. This allows you to make changes that are long-standing to continue performing at your optimal level and prevent future injuries.

He understands exercise can be intimidating and has experience adapting programs to fit individual needs, goals, and experience. He has worked with patients of many different ages, backgrounds, and activity levels and enjoys when they return to full function. He wants people to feel comfortable and excited about exercise.

While he likes to stay active doing calisthenics, weightlifting, and playing basketball, he also enjoys moments of restfulness with his family and friends. He loves traveling and trying out new restaurants.
