Mike Nelson
Meet Mike
Mike received his doctorate in physical therapy from UC San Francisco and San Francisco State University, and his bachelors of science in Management Science from UC San Diego. He is a graduate of the Agile Physical Therapy Orthopaedic Residency year-long program.
While at UCSF, his fascination with movement and performance led to his research in the fields of injury prevention and running analysis. He also worked as a graduate assistant for advanced orthopaedics, helping teach manual techniques and movement analysis to physical therapy students. His background includes working with a wide variety of orthopaedic patients, and he’s passionate about helping people of all functional levels reach exercise and sport-specific goals.
In his spare time, Mike is an avid weightlifter, enjoys golf and reading, and hopes to one day be an accomplished cook.
