Christina Allen
Meet Christina
Christina earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UCSF/SFSU in 2020, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Santa Clara University in 2016.
Inspired to become a physical therapist after being a patient herself, Christina understands the mental and physical strain of injuries from her experiences as a volleyball player and runner. She uses her former experience as a setter and libero to help volleyball players return to sport after injury and equips them with the knowledge to prevent future injuries. Christina also has a passion for running and understands the mental toll it can take on her patients when they are not able to run. Additionally, she is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and enjoys treating a wide variety of patients of all ages and physical abilities. She enjoys challenging older adults to reach meaningful functional goals, and addressing common concerns in this population such as balance and osteoporosis management. Her approach centers on individualized care, patient education, and open communication to guide her patients confidently along their recovery journeys.
Outside the clinic, Christina finds joy in the outdoors. She loves spending time with her husband and friends through running, hiking, paddleboarding, biking, and camping.
