Paul Kidger
Meet Paul
Paul completed his Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Hertfordshire in England. He went on to specialize in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, completing a year-long manual therapy course followed by a Master of Science degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy at Brighton University. Paul has over 25 years of clinical experience and has worked in hospital outpatient clinics and private sports injury clinics in both the US and UK healthcare systems. Prior to joining Agile, Paul worked as an orthopedic clinical specialist at Good Samaritan Hospital and as a clinical instructor for a postgraduate continuing education program. In this role, he has taught orthopedic and manual therapy skills to many physical therapists working in the Bay Area.
Paul enjoys working with all types of clients, from those who have never set foot in a gym to competitive athletes. He has 4 core values that impact his approach to therapy. Paul believes that a genuine personal connection and a shared decision-making process are critical components of successful therapy. He believes that the combination of exercise, manual therapy, and education provides the best treatment approach for most musculoskeletal conditions. He believes in the value of evidence-informed practice and providing treatment and health advice based on current high-quality research. Paul’s goal with treatment is to help clients not only get back to doing what they love but also to help them adopt health behaviors for long-term health and wellness.
Outside of the clinic, Paul is a lifelong soccer player and runner. He is a fan of the craft brewery scene and a fanatical follower of Liverpool football club.
