Meet Alexandra
Alexandra completed her Masters in Physical Therapy at Boston University and her Doctorate at Northeastern University in a sports medicine track culminating in a research thesis on the treatment of shoulder pain in tennis players.
Alexandra transitioned into orthopedic practice at California Pacific Medical Center, establishing a reputation as an accomplished specialist in shoulder and knee pathologies. During her time at Agile, she has established herself as a team leader of Agile’s racket sports program, which provides state of the art assessment and exercise guidance for tennis and pickleball players to enhance their on court performance and reduce injuries. For multiple years, she has provided rehabilitation and classes in sport specific conditioning for this population.
Alexandra extensively uses weight training in her practice and is especially proud of her Bone Health Bootcamp classes that target loading for improved bone mineral density. The classes are based on the Liftmore study.
After competing at the highest level of equestrian competition, she continues to enjoy treating equestrians from all disciplines.
In her free time, she loves hiking, assisting USTA with their Jr development camps and events, and getting away on weekend trips to enjoy nature.
