Jessica Ruiz
Meet Jessica
Jessica is a Bay Area native with roots in the East Bay. She completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. Prior to SMU, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine and Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Jessica is currently working on obtaining her Orthopedic Clinical Specialty through Agile's Orthopedic Residency Program.
Jessica is passionate about getting to know her patients in order to effectively collaborate with them to return to their daily routines and recreational activities. She enjoys building confidence and empowering her patients while making the rehabilitation process as fun and positive as possible.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and family, dancing, trying new foods, and spending time outdoors.
