Kay Mayordomo
Meet Kay
Kay Mayordomo is a Board Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapist with extensive experience working with older adults, chronic pain, and patients of all ages. She completed her undergraduate training in Sports Medicine at the University of the Pacific before receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Upon completion of graduate school, Kay furthered her specialist training by completing a year-long Orthopedic Residency through Agile Physical Therapy and recently completed cert-MMOA after taking a series of three courses to further her knowledge treating older adults. Kay believes in empowering her patients to lead the best life they possibly can without being limited to pain and weakness. She is very passionate about working with older adults, but also enjoys working with individuals who want to return to CrossFit, lifting, and everyday activities. Additionally, she is currently a teacher’s assistant for Modern Management of the Older Adult (a continuing education course for physical therapists and occupational therapists).
Kay comes to the Agile team from our Sutter Branch and has enjoyed being in Northern California where she enjoys hiking/trail running, running, lifting, and spending time with family and friends.
