Katie is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist who completed the Agile Physical Therapy Orthopedic Residency. A 2020 graduate of Columbia University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, she did her undergraduate work at Tufts University outside Boston where she majored in Classical Studies and was a member of the Tufts field hockey team that won a Division 3 National Championship.
Katie became interested in physical therapy while suffering an array of orthopedic injuries throughout her athletic career, playing both field hockey and lacrosse. She now enjoys the wide variety of patients she can help in the orthopedic setting. A Jersey Girl, Katie relocated to the Bay Area after college and enjoys its endless trails, parks and roads. As a life-long athlete, Katie now leads the weekly track workouts with her local running club, road bikes, swims and competes in local races. She is a member of the Agile Physical Therapy Running Team and enjoys helping runners overcome injuries. When not working or exercising, she is always up for a unique restaurant, board game, spike ball or ice cream.
