Tim Jannisse
Meet Tim
A Bay Area native, Tim earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of California, San Francisco and San Francisco State University. In addition to his schooling, he received certification in Myofascial Decompression (MFD). Prior to his physical therapy education, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at San Diego State University. During college, Tim played on the collegiate rugby team and raced mountain bikes for the cycling team.
Currently, Tim is in the Orthopedic Residency Program through Agile Physical Therapy (2021-2022). He is also pursuing certification in Bike Fit through Serotta International Cycling Institute, which he plans to complete by 2022. In the clinic, Tim enjoys collaborating with patients to achieve their goals through exercise or simply using daily activities as a way to improve strength and mobility. Tim strives to make all of his patients not only more capable to handle life’s stresses, but also empowers his patients to adapt on their own after completing physical therapy. Just as much as Tim likes teaching his patients, he also enjoys learning from his patients about their lives: from locations to explore, restaurants to try, how-to tips and anything else his patients enjoy.
When Tim is not working in the clinic, he spends most of his time biking, rock climbing, camping, snowboarding and anything else that gets him in nature.
