Melanie Tong
Meet Melanie
Melanie is a Bay Area native who is excited to serve her community. She graduated from San Diego State University where she received her B.S. in Kinesiology, and then continued her education at Samuel Merritt University where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is currently working toward becoming a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the orthopaedic residency at Agile Physical Therapy.
Melanie is passionate about providing quality, compassionate care to all people. She recognizes that each individual’s story is unique and thus aims to provide personalized care using a collaborative approach. Melanie strongly believes that each patient should be provided with the education and tools needed to advocate for themselves and make healthy decisions.
During her free time, Melanie enjoys playing soccer, running, hiking, and traveling the world. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, lounging at home with her furry friends, and most of all, eating yummy foods and trying new cuisines!
