Brandon Hsu
Meet Brandon
Brandon Hsu, a Bay Area native, holds a Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Johns Hopkins University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. He had an interesting journey to becoming a Physical Therapist. After his first semester of college, Brandon was diagnosed with leukemia. He later had an adverse reaction to one of the chemotherapy drugs, was put in a medically-induced coma, and later woke up unable to move or talk. Through dedicated therapy, he regained his abilities and returned to college six months later, inspiring his career in physical therapy.
Brandon believes in the power of individualized treatment, facilitated movements, and a communicative relationship with his patients. His goal is to help patients achieve their personal goals, no matter how big or small, just as his own therapists helped him regain his life.
In his spare time, he enjoys working out in the gym, hiking, hanging out and playing board games with his friends, and traveling and discovering new foods with his wife.
