Taslim Janmohamed
Meet Taslim
Taslim received her BSc in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada and has been a licensed Occupational Therapist since 1994, practicing in both Canada and the US. She has worked in a variety of settings from acute care to outpatient therapy and has experience in neuro-rehabilitation, orthopedics, and general medicine with a special interest in stroke rehabilitation and a background in NDT techniques. To complement her experience in neuro-rehabilitation and her focus on the upper extremity, Taslim is currently pursuing her Advanced Practice in Hand Therapy and Physical Agent Modalities, as well as her Certified Hand Therapy License.
Taslim strongly believes that therapy can help clients gain a better quality of life. She is passionate about learning new ways to help her clients achieve their goals and stays current with research and best practices. In her free time, Taslim tries to keep up with her three kids, loves hiking with her dog, and is pursuing a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
